Around 40 miles from London city centre, London Southend is one of the quieter airports serving the capital. However, with a million passengers visiting each year there’s still plenty of competition for parking. If you want to get the edge in the battle for the very best spaces, we’ve created this guide packed full of tips to help you make the right choices.
Pick-up & Drop-off at London Southend Airport
London Southend offer a few different options to visitors who are picking up or dropping off passengers. You can enter the short stay carpark directly facing the terminal for 5 minutes free of charge however the price will steeply climb after that. Alternatively, you can stay in long-stay Carpark 3 for 15 minutes free of charge and there is a shuttle bus service which allows your passengers to get between the Main Terminal and the carpark quickly. If you’re planning on staying for longer than 15 minutes you will need to book short-stay parking.
