If you’re waiting to meet with family and friends then the short-stay parking at London Stansted Airport is a brilliant option. The Short-Stay Parking is a two-minute walk from the terminal doors and features 24 hour security. If you’re planning on staying for longer than a day or two you may want to consider Mid-stay Parking which is slightly further from the airport but offers more reasonable pricing for several days of parking. Those who require more than a week of parking should look into long-stay parking.
Located on the opposite side of the runway to the rest of the parking at London Stansted, the Long-stay Carpark is a short shuttle bus journey away from the terminal doors. The carpark is reasonably priced and will allow you to store your vehicle for several weeks at a time.

Looking For A Quiet Spot?: As the airport can be incredibly busy there are a few secluded spots for travellers who need to get away from the hustle and bustle. Just behind Pret a Manger in the main building there is an area of seating that tends to be a little quieter. However, if you want to ensure that you’ll get some peace and quiet then you may want to consider booking into one of the lounges where you can often receive complimentary food and fast pass tickets.
Free Pick-up and Drop-off: Remember that you can use the Set Down area in the Medium-stay Carpark completely free of charge. If you have the time to take the shuttle bus then there is no need to pay for Express Set Down – save that money for a round of drinks before your flight.
